So, looks like I have to go ahead with the money to purchase the car. Stef was nice enough to drive me out to meet the dude and see the car. As my 944 consultant, she was excellent as always. It's a guards red 85 with 108K original miles on the clock. Interior is the only sort of rough part of the car, and I can see it lasting me as long as I want to drive it. God help me, I'm going to be a Porsche owner

Nice! A friend of mine has an '86 ('87?) in the same color, something like 90k on it. It's a really fun little car.
